Audio extract & trim

Extract an audio track, trim its time range and save an audio-only copy.

Extract, trim and convert audio

Save the audio from a local video or audio file. Select a time range and create a separate audio-only copy on your device.

Maximum input/output: 100 MiB (104,857,600 bytes). Input audio: 10 minutes, one mono or stereo track, 8–96 kHz. The selected range must be at least 0.02 seconds. Each job stops after 10 minutes.

Readable containers: MP4/M4A, MOV, WebM, MKV, WAV, MP3, OGG, FLAC and AAC (ADTS). Actual codec decoding and M4A/OGG encoding depend on your browser; unavailable outputs are disabled after inspection. A supported extension does not guarantee a supported file.

The output contains only audio at 48 kHz, preserving one or two channels. Video, subtitles, cover art and descriptive tags are omitted. Files with multiple audio tracks are rejected so the wrong language or track is not selected. Encrypted files are unsupported.

WAV stores uncompressed 16-bit samples and can be much larger than the source; a long stereo range may exceed the output limit. AAC and Opus are lossy. Resampling or conversion cannot restore detail already lost. Small timing differences can occur with compressed formats.

Choose a file or try the sample tone.

Playback starts only when you press play. Some source containers cannot preview in this browser even if conversion works. Check the downloaded copy in its intended player.
